North Bridge Brasserie & Bar is a grand Victorian setting with dramatic interiors complimenting classic architecture with a modern contemporary twist.
Built over 100 years ago, the building was the former offices of The Scotsman newspaper. The restaurant has been cleverly converted from the newspaper's old reception hall where traders and merchants would buy copies of the newspaper, or place their local advertising.
Head Chef Spencer Wilson serves seasonal modern Scottish cuisine with a French classic brasserie style influence, focusing on ingredients of the highest quality. Signature dishes include -
TO START
Tian of fresh west Hebridean crab, pea & pistachio bavarois with pink grapefruit jelly
TO FOLLOW
Seared rump of Scottish beef, roasted baby beets, young garden vegetables, confit tomatoes with red wine fumet
TO FINISH
Early grey cream tea, caraway shortbread & sweetened ice cream
The restaurant is part of The Scotsman Hotel, a 5 star boutique hotel and member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
